Undo and redo, the standard clipboard commands, and a set of Lightroom-style commands for selecting photos by flag, rating or colour.
Undo, redo & clipboard§
Undo (⌘Z ) / Redo (⇧⌘Z ) — step backwards and forwards through your recent changes.
Cut / Copy / Paste and Select All (⌘A ) — the standard macOS commands. In a text field they act on text; in the grid, Select All selects every photo in the current view.
Selecting photos§
These commands change which photos are selected in the current view — the basis for any action you then apply to a group.
Select None (⌘D ) — clear the selection.
Invert Selection — select everything currently unselected, and vice versa.
Select Only Active Photo (⇧⌘D ) — narrow a multi-photo selection down to just the active one.
Deselect Active Photo (/ ) — drop the active photo from the selection.
Select Flagged Photos (⌥⌘A ) — select every picked photo in the view.
Deselect Unflagged Photos (⌥⇧⌘D ) — keep only the flagged photos selected.
Select by Flag, Rating or Colour§
Three submenus select photos matching a specific attribute in one step:
Select by Flag — Flagged, Unflagged or Rejected photos.
Select by Rating — 1★ or higher, up through 5★.
Select by Color Label — any one of your five colour labels, or No Label. (Label names are the ones you set in Metadata ▸ Edit Color Label Names…)
