On-device AI that ships today: natural-language search, Denoise, AI subject selection, Lens Blur, Super Resolution and assisted culling — all run on your Mac, with no cloud. Still in development: automatic face grouping, bulk keyword suggestions and distraction removal — don't buy for those yet; they're covered by your update year when they land.
Updates released during your first 12 months are free and yours to keep. After that the app continues to work indefinitely at the last version you received — nothing stops working and no further payment is ever required. Continuing to receive new releases beyond 12 months needs a renewal, priced separately.
